Choosing a CBHS preferred provider dentist may enable members to avoid significant out of pocket expenses when you visit the dentist. However, this depends on your level of dental cover with your private health fund. As CBHS preferred dental providers, Doucas Dental offers a range of services which, as a CBHS health fund member, means receiving preventative treatment, such as regular dental check-ups, scale and cleans you may have only a small out of pocket cost to pay on the day. Please be aware that annual dental limits may apply with your health fund.

Pay Little to No Gap on your regular dental check-ups

At the time of your appointment, our friendly reception team can provide you with a treatment plan quote and a CBHS health fund quote through our HICAPS machine, which is just one of the many benefits of choosing a CBHS dental provider for your dental health needs. If you’re a CBHS Choice Network and Corporate Health gold, silver or bronze member with dental extras cover, visiting a CBHS preferred dental provide like us means you will have little to no gap to pay for these services on the day of your appointment. Please be mindful that overall annual limits apply to each tier of dental extras cover.

This benefit also includes dental services such as some dental radiographs which only include periapical and bitewing radiographs, mouthguards and fissure sealings. There are also annual limits on these services for all tiers of CBHS dental extras cover. Our friendly reception team can process your CBHS health fund claim instantly once all treatment is completed on the day of your appointment through our onsite HICAPS machine.
