Parking is available in our driveway or on Templeman Place on the street, or across the road at Midland Gate shopping centre.
What private health funds does Doucas Dental accept?
At Doucas Dental we accept all major health funds. We are a dental providers with HBF and CBHS choice network and CBHS corporate. You can claim your private health fund on the day through our HICAPS machine if you bring your card. If you don’t bring your health fund card we cannot claim on the day so you must pay your account in full and then claim your rebate with your health fund.
I have private health insurance. How much will I get back from my fund?
This depends on your level of cover and health insurance provider. However we are a participating HBF member plus dentist and HBF customers can get up to 60 to 80 per cent rebate on their total fee. We are also a CBHS choice network dental provider and depending on your level of cover patients can get a check up, clean and some x-rays fully covered depending on your annual limit.
Do we offer Payment plans?
Yes! We now offer Afterpay in store. For payment plan amounts up to $2000.00. Buy now and pay it in 4 interest-free installments over 6 weeks.
How much notice do I need to give to cancel my appointment?
We have a 24 hour Cancellation Policy and a Missed appointment policy. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend without notifying our practice, you may be charged a $50 fee prior to rescheduling your appointment. If you have an appointment on Saturday’s we require 2 days notice for cancellations.
How often should I visit my dentist in Perth?
To maintain your good oral health at Doucas Dental we recommend you visit your Perth dental clinic every 6, 8 or 12 months depending on what we recommend for you, every patient is different.
Why are regular check-ups and cleans important?
Regular check-ups will help maintain healthy teeth and gums and facilitate early detection of problems such as gum disease, tooth decay and oral cancer. Discussion of caring for your mouth and maintaining good oral hygiene at home are also an important part of regular check-ups.
I am a new patient, what do I need to do before arriving to my appointment and what do I need to bring with me?
You can complete our patient medical form your appointment to save time instead of completing it when you arrive. If you have an extensive medical history or medication list we recommend bringing all your medical information with you to your appointment. Bring your health insurance card if this applies to you.
I am a new patient wanting to transfer my previous dental records to your practice?
Complete our record request form by clicking on this link and either send it directly to your previous dental practice or email it to us with the practice details and we can arrange this for you.
