Health Funds and Payment
We are a private billing practice which means all accounts must be paid in full at the time of your appointment. For your convenience, we accept EFTPOS debit or credit cards, private cheques, cash and American Express cards. At Doucas Dental we accept all major health funds, and our onsite HICAPS machine allows you to claim on the day of your treatment so you will only have to pay the GAP. If you don’t bring your health fund card we cannot claim on the day so you must pay your account in full and then claim your rebate with your health fund.
We are a HBF member plus provider and CBHS Choice Network and corporate dental providers
You can claim your HBF and CBHS rebate instantly at the end of your dental appointment on our HICAPS machine at Doucas Dental. Our friendly team can provide you with a quote through our HICAPS machine with your HBF, CBHS or other health fund cards when you come in for your appointment prior to performing treatment.
As HBF member plus dental providers in Perth, HBF customers can get a rebate of up to 60-80% back on the total fee of your treatment, depending on your level of cover. If you have any queries regarding your health cover, the HBF team is conveniently located across the road at Midland Gate Shopping Centre to assist with any enquiries you may have.
CBHS Choice Network and CBHS Corporate Health top tier members will be 100% covered on preventative dental services such as dental examinations, cleans, mouthguards and fissure sealings, however there are annual limits on other tiers of dental cover.
We have a 24 hour Cancellation Policy and a Missed appointment policy. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or fail to attend without notifying our practice, you may be charged a $50 fee prior to rescheduling your appointment. If you have an appointment on Saturday’s we require 48 hours notice for cancellations.
